Staff and customers from Bromley’s charitable leisure trust Mytime raised over £1250 for Breast Cancer Care during October’s Breast Cancer awareness month.
Bromley Mytime's Development Team recently scored 88% in its bi-annual Quest assessment which took place in August 2008. This makes the team currently the highest in Greater London and equal 7th nationally.
Local charitable leisure trust Bromley Mytime has published its annual report for 2007/8 showing record attendances of 3.1 million, a 2% increase over the previous year. Improved centres, a wider range of activities and better customer service are credited with the increase.
Bromley youth sports teams celebrated their success in winning the Balfour Beatty London Youth Games for the second year running at a reception last Friday in Bromley’s Civic Centre.
Following the success of monthly exclusive sessions at Adventure Kingdom for families of Bromley Autistic Trust, similar sessions are now being held at buzz zone at the Walnuts Leisure Centre on Wednesdays once a month from September. These sessions will be open to families of Bromley Mencap as well as Bromley Autistic Trust.
Monthly Splash Sessions at the Spa at Beckenham for Children with Additional NeedsOne of six ABLE2 disability sport projects taking place across South London, supported through funding from Capital Radio 95.8 Help a London Child, these sessions take place on the first Wednesday of each month and run from 6.00pm to 7.00pm.
On the first Sunday of every month, Adventure Kingdom in Bromley is open for exclusive use for a two hour session for families of Bromley Autistic Trust from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
These sessions at Darrick Wood Pool are for all women, and their young children (up to 7 years old).
Bromley Mytime was created to manage selected leisure services on behalf of Bromley. We have 3 million annual visits to our 18 sites including sports and leisure centres, golf courses and civic halls.
